I love this time a year we get SOOOOO many of beautifully made name brand shoes in! Last week we got in some Uggs who everyone loves!  You better get them early we do sell out!  We are carrying a lot of new styles this year there are so many I just LOVE!!!

We are carrying the Ugg Classic Tall Metallic in 3 colors this year Gold, Copper and Nickel

Like the Ugg Classic Short, the Ugg Bailey Button is a calf-height boot made from genuine twin-face sheepskin. Uggs updated this traditional style with a wooden UGG® logo button and elastic band closure. The Uggs Bailey Button can either be worn up or cuffed down adding a little variety depending on your style.

We are carrying the Ugg Cove in Toast this year I have tried this on so many times I think this is such a cute boot to wear with jeans or a casual skirt.  Real fun pair of short boots!  Featuring rich le
athers and suedes lined in quality sheepskin and a wrapped lace detail. The outsole is composed of a molded rubber with a ribbed traction pattern that is perfect for wear all season. Finished with a surf inspired trim around the heel, the Cove is a great bootie for a fun, stylish look t
hat is functional and extra comfortable. I want these!!!

Woodstock 40th Anniversary

So I went to the 40th anniversary concert out in Bethel last night.  I people watched almost the entire time!
I especially checked out footwear! (but of course!)
A lot of people were barefoot as can be expected!  There was no mud this year between the toes though!  It was a beautiful night
but many many had one Keen Footwear!  Mostly I saw the Keen Newport

I did however see alot of guys in Merrells - alot of the Merrell Waterpro MaiPo

The show was alot of fun! Levon Helm lives right in Woodstock - his band is probably the best live band  around these days.  I saw them last year and I think they are even better than they were last time I saw them.  Fun band to see!

WOODSTOCK — Lisa Bettencourt and Farrell McKenna have listened to stories about Woodstock since they were little — stories about the love, music and groovy times their parents experienced at the 1969 festival.

So this weekend Bettencourt, 20, and McKenna, 19, decided to stop living vicariously. The two hopped in a little blue car and drove 1,089 miles from Palm Coast, Fla., to Woodstock — the town, not the concert site — to wear the tie-dye, breathe the incense and feel the music.

"We've been raised on classic rock," said McKenna, who kept his shaggy hair and chop-style sideburns. "Just being at the site is going to be awesome."

On Saturday they were among a small number of Woodstock festival veterans and worshippers who stopped in the Ulster County town that inspired the concert 40 years ago — but didn't host it — before moving on to the hallowed field in Bethel. These pilgrims came to Woodstock not to celebrate the festival, but to revel in some of the independent spirit that's been preserved in this town.

After all, Woodstock is still the place where drum circles happen every week, where the residents fought against McDonald's and won, where peace marches and lectures regularly show up on the community calendar.

"People come here to feel the vibe," said Tom Gombar, a 58-year-old New Jersey resident who was among the 400,000 Woodstock concertgoers in 1969. "Hell, I had to come back. It's one of the biggest events of my life."

Gombar and several others were planning to go to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for a Woodstock commemorative concert Saturday night, but many were shocked to find out they needed tickets. The were even more shocked when they discovered the show was sold out. That's not how it worked four decades ago.

"I guess we're gonna have to tear down the fence again," Gombar said with a chuckle.

The Town of Woodstock hosted its own concert Saturday night, featuring acts like the Blues Magoos and Ellen McIlwaine, who played in the 1968 Sound-Outs.

But that concert was about the only formal acknowledgement here of the famed festival. Otherwise, Woodstock carried on the same way it does every weekend — with tourists shopping along Tinker Street, musicians strumming on the sidewalks, and fireworks crackling overhead to thank the town's volunteers.

Just like in 1969, the crowds and production were 50 miles away from the namesake.
